About Marquis
Marquis Perkins is a photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Born in southeastern Virginia, Marquis began shooting with his friends around his neighborhood after his parents bought him a camcorder for his 11th birthday. Prior to shooting full-time, Marquis spent several years as a creative director in Washington, DC, working with agencies to produce world-wide branding campaigns for tourism, spirits, and fashion. After moving to NY, he assisted some of the more recognizable names in the photography space before launching his own career.
Current and former clients include: Athleta, Audi, Clinique, EstéeLauder, The Ford Motor Company, Gap Inc., L’Oréal, Meta, Pepsi, Todd Snyder, and Time Magazine among others.
